Type X Attachment (Detachable Cord Set): If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a special cord or assembly available from the manufacturer or its service agent.

Type Y Attachment (Fixed Power Cable): If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
