Water flow left too low.

The flow rate left is less than 0.3 tick/s.

→ Water supply okay?

→ Check the grinder adjustment. Is it set too fine?

→ A powder chute product could have caused the problem (too much powder inserted).

→ Check if the water filter has to be changed

W-005

Water flow right too low.

The flow rate left is less than 0.3 tick/s.

→ Water supply okay?

→ Check the grinder adjustment. Is it set too fine?

→ A powder chute product could have caused the problem (too much powder inserted).

→ If the warning appears more than once during the cleaning: Check the bypass valve.

→ Check if the water filter has to be changed

W-006

Check cleaning ball dispenser.

  • Blocked or broken cleaning balls?

  • Light barrier dirty?

This warning is set, if the light barrier has detected a blocked ball.

→ Check if a cleaning ball is blocked or broken.

W-007

The coffee machine has been cleaned without cleaning balls.

  • Coffee cleaning ball dispenser empty?

  • Blocked or broken coffee cleaning balls?

This warning is set, if no cleaning ball has been detected.

→ Check if the cleaning ball dispenser is empty. If yes, refill it.

→ Check if a cleaning ball blocks the dispenser.

W-008

Press Continue to start the cleaning now. If you want to start the cleaning later, push the Cancel button in the upper right corner.

Press and hold the rinse key for two seconds to start the cleaning.

W-009

Cleaning ball dispenser missing.

Check if the cleaning ball dispenser is plugged in correctly.

W-010

Invalid coffee or milk recipe.

No action necessary. This message disappears with the next successful coffee product.

W-011

Brewing unit initialization failed left.

The left brewing unit is blocked.

=> Please check the left brewing unit.

This warning is set, if the left brew unit is blocked during motor initialization.

W-012

Brewing unit initialization failed right.

The right brewing unit is blocked.

=> Please check the right brewing unit.

This warning is set, if the right brew unit is blocked during motor initialization.

W-013

Service necessary. Please contact your service technician.

Predefined water amount has been reached.

The water filter has to be changed after its life time cycle. Otherwise the boilers will be damaged due to the lime.

Water pressure sensor failure.

Please check the pressure sensor and cable.

Please refill the milk tank.

Refill the milk tank (a milk product on the left side has been aborted due to the empty milk tank).

Steam pressure too low for milk products.

Wait until the steam pressure is high enough to produce a milk product.

The machine tries to unblock the piston automatically.

Please refill the milk tank.

Refill the milk tank (a milk product on the right side has been aborted due to the empty milk tank).

W-027

Date and time incorrect.

Please adjust the date and time in the display menu and restart the machine.

Turn the coffee machine off (main switch and not standby button!), wait 10s and turn it on again (mostly that already fixes the problem).

But if the message is still shown after turning off and on the machine:

Adjust the date and time at the left display -> Main Menu -> Display -> Date and Time -> Set Date & Time. Check also if the timezone is correct at the display(s).

If the message still appear after manually setting the date and time and restarting the machine:

→ The battery of the display could be damaged. That causes that the time is lost every time the machine is turned off and on. Replace display.

→ Before you replace the display you have to save the settings on a USB stick! Like this you are able to restore the settings at the new display.

W-028

Date and time incorrect.

Please adjust the date and time in the display menu and restart the machine.

Failure of external EEPROM (CPU).

The CPU has to be changed.

Persistent data of the CPU is stored in the external EEPROM.

If the external EEPROM doesn't work properly anymore some of the CPU data could be corrupt (e.g. PQC control data).

If the message doesn't disappear after turning off and on the machine, the CPU has to be changed.

W-030

Failure during backup to external EEPROM (CPU).

Turn the coffee machine off, wait 10s and turn it on again.

The backup of the CPU data is stored in the external EEPROM.

If there is a problem with the external EEPROM the CPU data cannot be saved and restored properly (e.g. before and after a software update).

W-031

The milk system cleaning was not performed correctly.

Check the position of milk tube(s) in the cleaning container.

→ Check if the grinder is adjusted too fine (grinder could not turn) -> Go into the Grinder Adjust menu -> Press Coarser.

→ Check for blocking beans or stones in the grinder. If yes, remove manually.

W-069

Grinder right (bean hopper front) is blocked.

Close the bean hopper and put the lid back on.

Press Continue to start automatic grinder unblocking.

The right grinder could not be automatically unblocked.

→ Check if the grinder is adjusted too fine (grinder could not turn) -> Go into the Grinder Adjust menu -> Press Coarser.

Please press Continue to start a rinse.

The extraction time of left side is three times in succession more than 15s too high.

To check if the machine has a problem, a rinse will be performed after pressing Continue.
